We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technician to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. As a CT Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to operate Cat Scan equipment safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for positioning patients, selecting proper technical factors, and evaluating completed radiographs/scans for positioning, technique, and adequacy of examination.
Key Responsibilities- Operate C.T. equipment to make radiographic scans of designated portions of the body.
- Adjust equipment and patient to correct positions for each examination.
- Instruct and explain procedures to patients.
- Select proper technical factors, on an individual patient basis.
- Perform reconstruction and special processing of data.
- Evaluate completed radiographs/scans for positioning, technique, and adequacy of examination.
- Closely observe patients, perform first aid, as necessary, confer with physician when requested exams appear at odds with the patient's condition.
- ARRT (R) certification
- Texas Medical Board certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist
- Current CPR certification
- ARRT (CT) Credential (must acquire within 1 year)
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology
