Position Summary

The Culinary Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring food safety and quality. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and recording food temperatures
  • Setting up and maintaining a clean serving area
  • Preparing and serving food items
  • Restocking food supplies
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment
  • Processing payments for food and beverages

Adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines is essential. This role requires excellent customer service skills and effective communication with patrons and team members.

Additional responsibilities may include operating kitchen equipment such as grills, beverage machines, and cash registers. Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and food service is advantageous. Candidates should be able to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions, as well as perform basic math. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the hiring location, Serv Safe certification may be required within a specified timeframe. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
