MagTech Inc. is seeking a skilled Production Scheduler to join their team in the Clinton township MI area.



Job Summary:
Coordinate and plan the production cycle to meet customer delivery dates and internal financial goals. Utilize ERP software to generate manufacturing work orders and coordinate with production manager to match project cycle times with proper machines.

Key Responsibilities:
Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements, coordinate delivery of parts to expedite material flow, and utilize ERP system to auto-generate manufacturing work orders. Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages, notify sales of schedule impacts, and complete status reports on production progress and customer information.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years production planning experience in a machine shop/fabrication, ability to interact well with internal and external customers, and excellent communication skills. Proficient use of computer systems and software applications, and in-depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
