Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our team at Nucor Corporation. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will play a critical role in driving positive results in the Production Department to meet all NRF Division goals and continuously build a World-Class Rebar Fabrication facility to take care of Nucor's Customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all fabrication and material handling equipment safely and effectively, including equipment to cut, bend, thread, and maneuver concrete reinforcing bar.
  • Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to high standards of housekeeping and appearance.
  • Execute projects to completion, working collaboratively with Production Leads and Supervisors to ensure timely and quality results.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work unplanned, unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to work in extreme situations, including hot, cold, and rainy weather, dusty conditions, and a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Fundamental computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mobile equipment (forklift/overhead crane) or equivalent experience.
  • Prior fabrication experience.
