Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to become a vital part of our Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role, you will engage in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, providing care to patients facing intricate neurological challenges. Our telemetry-monitored unit, consisting of 38 beds, presents a distinctive opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, ensuring that each day brings new experiences. This position is well-suited for nurses who excel in a collaborative, team-focused atmosphere and are dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, and empathetic patient care.

Key Duties:
- Deliver exceptional, compassionate care to patients with complex neurological conditions in the Neuro PCU.
- Perform thorough clinical evaluations, create and execute personalized care plans, and track patient progress.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to guarantee safe and effective patient care, promptly addressing any changes in patient status.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care, in line with hospital policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to remain updated on the latest advancements in neurological care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of an active and valid nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Experience in a telemetry or neuro-focused unit is preferred but not mandatory.
