Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join our team in Washington, DC. As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of those around you.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week contract in our Pediatric Emergency Room. As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Pediatric Emergency Room setting.
- Current licensure and certification in the state of Washington.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move equipment as needed.
