Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Syncreon America Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials from one location to another.
Key Responsibilities
- Shuttle loads between home location and customer facility.
- Secure loads using straps and chains to ensure safe transport while driving.
- Perform pre- and post- trip vehicle inspections using DVIR sheets.
- Move trailers and other equipment on and off the dock and within the trucking yard.
- Direct traffic in the yard (including company and non-company drivers).
- Keep track of loads and backhauls in the yard.
- Examine yard equipment and perform load checks while following appropriate safety guidelines.
- Assist management as required to keep the dock flowing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Valid CDL class A operating license (in good standing) and medical certification required.
- Must complete and pass DOT pre-employment background check, drug screen/physical, FMCSA clearing house query and have a clean MVR.
- Experience with driving a 53' tractor/trailer and securing cargo
- Experience maneuvering in tight spaces and backing in and out of dock doors.
- Must speak, read and understand English.
