About the Job:

We are seeking a Recreation Assistant I to join our team at the Auburn Hills Clubhouse. As a Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating basic equipment, and performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the golf course.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service at the concession counter
  • Operate basic equipment, such as cash registers and golf carts
  • Perform custodial duties, including cleaning and maintaining facilities
  • Supervise children and lead games and activities
  • Officiate sports activities, such as tournaments and leagues

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift and carry stacks of boxes weighing up to 25 pounds

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $9.21 - $13.01 per hour, based on location and experience.
