We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a School Bus Driver. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Transport students safely and efficiently to and from school
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and school staff
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the school bus
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge
- A competitive hourly rate of $26.25
- A $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Opportunities for additional routes and pay
- Flexible scheduling with nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off
- Company-paid life insurance and employee assistance plan
- Dental and vision plans available on a voluntary basis
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake Endorsements
- Satisfactory driving history based on review of state motor vehicle records
- Clean criminal history record and child abuse history checks
- Initial and routine annual school bus driver physical and tuberculosis testing
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol test and random drug and alcohol testing programs
