We are seeking a qualified CPA or Enrolled Agent to join our dedicated team. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are essential for success in this role. Candidates with prior experience in tax practice are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of client financial records, both in real-time and retrospectively.
  • Overseeing the work of junior accountants, providing constructive feedback and training.
  • Preparing financial statements as required for clients.
  • Handling the preparation of various tax returns, including Federal and State forms such as 1040, 1040NR, 1041, 1120/1120S, 1065, 1042, and 990.
  • Engaging in tax planning and creating tax projections.
  • Addressing and resolving notices from the IRS and State agencies, including direct communication and written responses.
  • Conducting tax and accounting research to support client needs.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possession of a valid and active CPA license and a current PTIN number or be an Enrolled Agent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial accounting and tax services.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and effectively manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
  • Familiarity with Thomson Reuters products, including UltraTax, FileCabinet, and Practice Management.
