Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a contract employee in a local school district in Pinehurst, NC.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate students referred for possible speech and language needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators to provide comprehensive support for students with speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records for all students on the caseload, including progress reports and communication with parents and school staff.
- Provide consultation and support to school staff on speech and language development and best practices.
- Develop and implement resource materials and strategies for use in speech and language development.
- North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of North Carolina Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
- Professionalism and accountability
