Must-Have: Not a first-time traveler, accustomed to high-acuity settings

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center's busy Emergency Department. As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patients, from low acuity to high acuity, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple patients and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the EPIC system.
  • Float to other hospital facilities within the state as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Valid State License required at time of submission.
  • Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend and commit to working 3 out of 5 holidays.
