Banking Associate

Westamerica Bank is seeking a skilled Banking Associate to provide exceptional customer service and promote sales of bank services and products.

• Deliver 5 points of service to external customers, adhering to QIS standards and actively contributing to team success through clear communication.
• Promote sales of bank services, meeting a goal of $110/FTE per month on average, and cross-sell appropriate products and services to clients and prospects.
• Meet established standards for accuracy and compliance, un-located cash differences, operating losses, and BSA errors to be within established limits.

• Good customer relations and basic math skills required.
• Ability to work in an office environment and occasionally perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.

• Accept and process checks of bank customers written to non-customers when proper documentation is produced.
• Identify best approaches to obtain additional data from customers when there appears to be questions about the legitimacy of their requested transactions.
