We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate BA Mental Health Practitioner to join our Day Treatment team at Amherst H. Wilder Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential mental health services to children aged 6-12 years, working collaboratively with families and other service partners to ensure coordinated, integrated care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skill development and training in our day treatment setting, ensuring children's emotional, social, and physical needs are met.
- Structure a safe and nurturing environment, developing positive relationships with children and families.
- Contribute to the overall therapeutic program through peer mentoring, daily planning, and group facilitation.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team, school contacts, and other service partners.
- Transport clients in agency vehicles, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields).
- 1 year of work experience with diverse families and children with special needs and/or mental health diagnosis.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic health records systems.
- Valid MN driver's license and meeting Wilder Foundation driver requirements.
- Certified First Aid/CPR, preferred.
