Woodwork Specialist

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. is seeking a skilled Form Carpenter to join our team. As a Form Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

• Install, modify, repair, rebuild, inspect, construct, and maintain woodwork and other related structures.
• Ensure requirements and specifications are met.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Verify trueness of structure using required tools.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power tools.
• Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
• Assemble / Fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Remove damaged / defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace using hand tools.
• Install structures and fixtures using carpenter's hand and power tools.
• Select and order lumber and other required materials.
• Maintain records, documentation, and present written progress reports.
• Finish surfaces of woodwork.
• Inspect structures for damage.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform sustained and vigorous activities in a variety of environmental conditions.
• Exposure to dust, dirt, grease, and construction materials.
