As a Patient Care Coordinator with IASIS Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Rehabilitation Department. Your primary responsibility will be to obtain initial and ongoing authorization for Rehab Department Services, ensuring that our patients receive the necessary care and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with Medical Records, Billing, and Financial Counselors to ensure therapy visits are covered.
- Meet the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff, and medical staff.
- Implement directions from manager and rehab staff.
- Provide cross-coverage and administrative support duties in PT, OT, Speech, EEG, EMG, and Sleep Lab.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- One year experience in an office setting or hospital setting preferred.
- Experience with billing and insurance preferred.
