Job Overview

Nexeo Staffing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to enhance our operations and ensure the optimal organization of our partner's warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize previous warehouse experience to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in inventory oversight and monitoring to maintain precise stock levels.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts to uphold inventory integrity and detect any discrepancies.
  • Perform validation counts to confirm inventory data and improve overall accuracy.
  • Implement consolidations of stock items to maximize storage efficiency and streamline logistics.
  • Make timely adjustments to inventory records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Employ technological skills, including internet navigation and web tools, to assist in inventory management duties.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar software to generate and manage comprehensive inventory reports.
  • Effectively operate RF scanning devices to accurately update inventory data.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with stand-up and reach forklift operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management practices.
  • Experience in executing cycle counts is required.
  • Ability to perform validation counts effectively.
  • Competence in stock consolidations and record adjustments.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar applications.
  • Skilled in using RF scanning technology.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Must successfully complete a national background check and a pre-employment drug screening.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour

Work Schedule

Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday
