Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at Champaign Unit 4 Schools. As a key member of our Student Support Services team, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral support to students with challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement function-based intervention plans to address student behavioral challenges
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to inform instruction
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to provide comprehensive support to students
  • Provide training and coaching to teachers on effective instructional strategies and behavioral support techniques
Requirements
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certificate
  • Holds valid Illinois educator licensure (preferred)
  • Minimum of five (5) years successful school experience, ideally working with students with behavioral challenges (preferred)
  • Expert knowledge in the application of function-based intervention planning for developing behavior change strategies
  • Exceptional knowledge in the use of assessment and assessment data to inform instruction for individual students
Benefits
  • The salary for this position is determined based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Federation of Teachers
  • The District offers an additional $1,500 annual stipend for a Teacher who is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Individuals hired into a 1.0 FTE position in the CFT bargaining unit after October 1, 2023 are eligible for a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus
