Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our team at Lake Pointe Landing Retirement Community. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Server Duties:
    • Train and guide new Servers to ensure they meet Century Park standards
    • Assist with meal counts and tickets
  • Server Duties:
    • Assist and ensure dining room set up with servers
    • Assist with dish room tasks
    • Attend pre-meal menu review meeting
    • Perform duties at assigned station (i.e., beverages, salad bar)
    • Perform and ensure completion of assigned cleaning and prep work duties
    • Greet residents and visitors in a welcoming manner
    • Assist residents with food selection
    • Check for beverage refills timely
    • Serve residents timely and with appropriate serving techniques
    • Serve meals using trays
    • Strip and reset tables as needed during serving times
    • Remove dishes throughout meal service and deliver to dishwashing area
    • Remove soiled linens and place in designated laundry areas
    • Prepare tables for next meal
    • Remove trash and keep dining room clean, dry, and free of safety hazards
    • Prepare for next meal: clean tables, wipe out chairs, fill condiment containers, mop, sweep, clean coffee maker, juice machine, etc.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must enjoy serving seniors
    • Must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality
    • Must maintain positive resident and guest relations through a courteous, cooperative, and understanding manner
    • Must demonstrate trustworthiness and dependability
    • Must reasonably accommodate resident preferences in dining services
    • Must work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision
    • Must be able to receive and resolve complaints graciously
    • Must always be in proper attire and well-groomed
    • Must attend company-appointed ServSafe class
    • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park's Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance training
