About the Role

Southcoast Health System is seeking a highly skilled Sports Medicine Specialist to join our team. As an Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch care to our patients and promoting a culture of well-being within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Manager, Employee Health and Ergonomics, perform a wide range of duties within and in support of the Employee & Occupational Health Departments.
  • Provide Athletic Training outreach services at contracted high schools, promoting injury prevention and treatment strategies.
  • Support the Occupational Health Clinic in providing comprehensive care to employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field is required.
  • BOC certification and licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are mandatory.
  • CPR Certification is also required.
  • New graduates to 3 years of related work experience are preferred.
