Job Title: Part-Time Athletics Compliance Assistant

Auburn University at Montgomery is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Part-Time Athletics Compliance Assistant. This role will provide support to the Athletics Department in ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference rules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily operations of NCAA and conference rules compliance
  • Responsible for understanding and implementing NCAA rules and regulations and AUM Athletics policies
  • Support the recruiting compliance process, including eligibility information, official and unofficial visits, and recruiting logs
  • Assist in updates to Eligibility Certification Committee and coaches on status of prospective student-athletes
  • Maintain all NCAA, conference, and institutional required forms
  • Edit and maintain compliance-related forms and reports through SharePoint, ARMs, and email
  • Assist with travel notice creation and issuance to student-athletes, faculty, and coaches
  • Review and audit data for graduation rates, academic progress census data, compliance assistant updates, ARMS roster updates, and cohort master list
  • Develop education-related resources
  • Provide support on game day to execute duties to be compliant with expectations for a well-managed event that also adheres to NCAA rules
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Available on nights and weekends
  • Cannot be or become an AUM student while filling position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with NCAA athletics compliance
