Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team as a Senior Environmental Compliance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our manufacturing processes comply with environmental regulations, improving sustainability practices, and developing strategies to reduce the company's environmental footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain environmental policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct environmental audits, risk assessments, and site inspections to identify potential hazards or non-compliance issues.
  • Monitor air emissions, wastewater discharge, and hazardous material management to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to recommend and implement process improvements that minimize environmental impact.
  • Manage the proper storage, disposal, and documentation of hazardous materials and waste streams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in an environmental engineering role within a manufacturing environment. You should also have strong knowledge of environmental regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
