We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a Coordinator for Women's Services at Highpoint Health - Sumner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Women's Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units.
- Assist in the direction of the L&D, Women's & Nursery Unit's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Organize and manage the day-to-day and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs.
- Provide physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing considered with agreement to obtain BSN within agreed upon timeframe.
- 2 years clinical nursing experience required in L&D, Women's Services. Management/Leadership experience preferred.
- State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure required.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required to be current upon hire.
- ACLS & NRP certification from American Heart Association or ALS from American Red Cross required within 6 months of employment.
