Join Our Team as a Staff Accountant
Red Jacket Resorts, a distinguished collection of premier hospitality establishments, is on the lookout for a dedicated Staff Accountant to enhance our financial team. This role is integral in supporting the Director of Finance and Assistant Controller with the daily financial operations of our resorts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management of revenue for each resort.
- Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations and other financial statements.
- Conduct research on guest disputes and chargebacks.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reporting.
- Prepare reports for ownership.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operational efficiency.
- Undertake special assignments and projects as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting or payroll, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Familiarity with USALI standards is required.
- Experience with ProfitSword and Acumatica is a plus, but not mandatory.
This position demands flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities. The ideal candidate will possess a high energy level, creativity, and independent thinking capabilities. Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
