About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. This is a full-time opportunity to provide high-quality care to residents in long-term care settings.

Job Summary

The LPN provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet residents' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document resident interactions, outcomes, and medication administration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current LPN license in good standing.
  • An associate degree in practical nursing or equivalent experience.
  • IV therapy management skills (if required).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
