Position Overview:
The Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests, managing the inventory of bar supplies, and processing payments for drinks served.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process drink orders from patrons or waitstaff.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and nonalcoholic options.
• Ensure that garnishes and other bar essentials are prepped prior to service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas.
• Visually present bar items attractively for guest enjoyment.
• Handle payment transactions for drinks served.
• Verify the legal drinking age of customers by checking identification.
• Exercise discretion in refusing service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of beverage preparation and service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Composed and professional when addressing challenging customer interactions.
• Proficient in learning and utilizing Point of Sale systems.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of training in mixology, bartending, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands for handling and reaching.
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
• Capable of completing orders efficiently and accurately.
• Able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
