  • Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely operate heavy machinery, including pile hammers, cranes, and excavators, to support construction projects.
  • Ensure Safety Standards: Verify that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and direct work activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assign Work to Employees: Assign tasks to employees based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Employees: Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Inspect Work Progress: Regularly inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in a similar role in the Engineering or Construction industry, with a strong background in construction, ironwork, carpentry, and site supervision.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve project goals.
  • Heavy Machinery Operation: Experience operating heavy machinery, including pile hammers, cranes, and excavators, with a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Project Management Software: Familiarity with Heavybid software or similar project management software, with the ability to use it to manage projects and track progress.
  • Education and Certifications: A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus, with relevant certifications and training in construction management and safety procedures.
