Job Description

SSG is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to support a large Department of Veterans Affairs nationwide program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test automation strategies
  • Develop and execute automated tests
  • Integrate with CI/CD tools and pipeline
  • Troubleshoot and document defects
  • Work closely with engineering and QA teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 8+ years of automated software development and testing experience
  • Experience with Java, C#, or Python
  • Knowledge of IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems, and networks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems
  • Knowledge of MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems

Security Clearance: Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.

Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for this opportunity.
