The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager who will be instrumental in driving our production accounting group forward. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building high-quality, fault-tolerant products that customers love, fostering an inclusive team environment, and working on complex problems with your team to find the right balance between delegation and doing the work yourself.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build high-quality, fault-tolerant products that customers love
  • Foster an inclusive team environment where your team can do their best work
  • Work on complex problems with your team, finding the right balance between delegation and doing the work yourself
  • Work with product, UX, Data, and other disciplines to discover the best solutions for our customers
  • Drive projects that have impact across engineering
  • Grow the team both through internal development and external hiring
  • Advocate for quick iterative development accompanied by experimentation analysis
  • Ensure we have the right balance of work towards short-term and long-term goals
Requirements
  • Over 3 years of engineering management and experience managing managers
  • Technical expertise in one or more relevant areas, particularly the design, implementation, and maintenance of web services and/or infrastructure
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience building and successfully growing development teams
  • A commitment and drive for quality, technical excellence, and results
  • Experience working with Scrum or Agile teams
  • Experience with accounting is a bonus
