- Execute the nursing process with patients, including implementing physician orders related to diet, medication, and treatment, in line with Firelands standards.
- Conduct assessments, monitor care quality through observation and evaluation, document nursing interventions in care plans and medical records, and communicate findings to physicians as necessary.
- Educate patients, staff, and family members on treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care to ensure safe discharges.
- Respond to emergencies, maintain the availability of medications and supplies, and ensure the cleanliness of equipment and the environment.
- Exemplify service excellence and act as an ambassador and advocate for Firelands Regional Medical Center.
- Current Ohio RN license and CPR certification required prior to patient care responsibilities.
- Preferred minimum of one year of nursing experience.
- Current NRP and Basic EKG certifications required or to be obtained within six months of hire.
- Fetal Monitoring and Stable course completion required within one year.
- Board certification in the area of expertise preferred within two years.
- Strong organizational skills, customer service aptitude, and computer proficiency are essential.
