Job Summary:

22nd Century Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team as a traveler. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing vaginal deliveries, and providing postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as postpartum hemorrhage or fetal distress.
  • Document patient information and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
