Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at OhioHealth Marion General Hospital. Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in various settings, including the ICU, Medsurg units, emergency department, and post-surgical unit.
  • Operate and maintain various respiratory equipment, including Servo U Ventilators and BiPAPs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the need for respiratory therapy services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Current Ohio license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or Certificate of Program completion in Respiratory Care.
  • At least 2 years of experience in acute care settings.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NRP certification required; PALS certification preferred.
  • NICU/Special Care Nursery experience necessary.
