Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Rotolo's Beach Pizza Management. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest quality of food products served to our guests.
  • Adhere to our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
  • Prepare and portion food products according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including tables, shelves, grills, ovens, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Participate in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant.
  • Close and open the kitchen properly, following our established checklists.
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and contribute to improving our kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all colleagues.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders and handling phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to all safe food handling practices and follow our company's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen procedures and functions.
  • Excellent phone skills and ability to understand our Point of Sale system.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 5 hours).
  • Capacity to safely lift and maneuver up to 50lbs of product.
