As a Vestibular Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine impairments, diagnoses, prognoses, and tailored care plans for individuals with both basic and complex rehabilitation needs across various settings.

• Delivering or overseeing therapy interventions aligned with the evaluation outcomes, ensuring patient involvement in the planning and execution of their care.

• Regularly reassessing patients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, including determining when to discontinue therapy services.

• Planning for patient discharge by evaluating goal achievement and arranging appropriate follow-up or referrals, ensuring a smooth transition in care.

• Maintaining thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress, while collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Managing your schedule effectively to handle varying patient loads and communicating any caseload challenges to management.

• Participating in team meetings to discuss patient statuses and share insights with colleagues to enhance care delivery.

• Engaging in professional development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance personal and organizational performance.

• Providing education and consultation to patients, healthcare professionals, and the community regarding the benefits and objectives of vestibular therapy.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with preference for at least 3 years in a relevant setting.

• Experience in clinical mentoring.

• Active Maryland Physical Therapy License and current certifications (e.g., AHA HCP CPR, APTA clinical specialty).

• Preferred experience in treating vestibular conditions.

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, including two evening shifts.
