About the Role

This position involves working with pediatric patients and their families, providing high-quality care and support throughout their treatment journey. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in medical records

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina
  • At least 2 years of experience in pediatric oncology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
