Job Title: Dyslexia Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dyslexia Teacher to join our team at Soliant. As a Dyslexia Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing individualized instruction to students with dyslexia, employing specialized teaching techniques and strategies to help them overcome learning challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to the specific needs of students with dyslexia.
  • Utilize evidence-based methodologies to teach phonics, decoding, comprehension, and other literacy skills.
  • Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans for students with dyslexia.
  • Monitor student progress, track performance, and provide regular feedback to students and their families.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in dyslexia education, and integrate new techniques into instructional methods.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Dyslexia or Reading.
  • Previous experience working with students with dyslexia or learning differences is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with dyslexia intervention programs and methodologies, such as Orton-Gillingham.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and tools to support dyslexic learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome learning challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
