Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid nursing foundation and the expertise to deliver exceptional patient care. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program is also acceptable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - 180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive relocation support to ensure a smooth transition to your new role.

Job Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.

Assessment and Planning:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.

Unit-Specific Responsibilities:

  • ICU: Deliver critical care, including continuous monitoring, ventilator management, and administration of complex medications.
  • ER: Triage and stabilize patients in emergencies with rapid assessment and treatment.
  • Medical-Surgical: Care for patients post-surgery or with medical conditions, including wound care and pain management.
  • Long Term Care: Manage chronic conditions and rehabilitation for patients requiring extended care.
  • OB Unit: Support labor, delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal care to ensure the safety of mothers and babies.
  • BH Unit: Provide care for patients with behavioral health needs, including monitoring mental health conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with psychiatric teams to ensure holistic treatment.

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including interventions, changes in conditions, and care plans.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the broader healthcare team to ensure cohesive care delivery.

Patient and Family Education:

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge care, and health maintenance for better outcomes.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols while adhering to state and federal regulations.
