Job Summary

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Specialist to join our team in Dearborn. As a Pharmacy Specialist, you will operate in a designated area of specialty, assuming ownership and ensuring quality and completeness of work assigned. You will be responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project, serving as a role model and leader in the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate in a designated area of specialty or assigned responsibilities above and beyond technician duties.
  • Assume ownership and ensure quality and completeness of work assigned.
  • Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project.
  • Serve as a role model and leader in the department.
  • Escalate any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command.
  • Required to adhere to regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance (including USP [795] [797] [800] in sites that perform sterile compounding).
  • Participate in training others in area of specialty.
Requirements
  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy. Preferred
  • LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
