Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
  • Monitor residents' physical and mental conditions, tracking vital signs and documenting medical histories
  • Administer medications, track their use and effects, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Cultivate a safe and comfortable environment for residents, working with staff to ensure their needs are met
  • Assist with the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures, and maintain a proper inventory of medical supplies
  • Follow and adhere to resident care plans, working collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new colleagues, sharing your expertise and knowledge to support the growth and development of our team
Requirements
  • Current New Jersey state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program
  • High school graduation, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience as an LPN or in a similar role
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
