Job Opportunity

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver to join their team in Brookings, SD. This role involves moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas.

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, with a dispatch window of 4am-6am
  • Route: SD, NC, MN
  • Touch-screen doors and hardware

Equipment:

  • Trucks are 36 months or newer, with dry van, 53' sleeper
  • 24/7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid CDL A license and minimum 21 years of age
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle, with 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, Ryder background and motor vehicle check, and DOT physical
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
  • Must live within 30 miles of Brookings, SD
