About the Opportunity

  • 24-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
  • Level 4 Trauma Center
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 2 beds
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: CPSI with M-Modal Dictation
  • High-volume patient load with an average daily census (ADC) of 5 (range: 3-12)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • COVID-19 vaccine required

Compensation and Benefits

  • Contractor (1099) status, allowing for tax benefits as an independent business owner
  • $1,400 stipend per day
  • Eligibility for a quarterly bonus pool (up to $20,000 based on Rural Physicians Group metrics)
  • PRIME bonus of $100 for physicians working 10+ shifts per month, plus a $3,000 quarterly bonus
  • Quarterly Prime Bonus
  • Hospital will handle billing
  • Housing provided by Rural Physicians Group
  • Malpractice insurance provided by Rural Physicians Group

Schedule and Accommodations

  • Consistent placement, allowing for predictable scheduling
  • Minimum of 5-day stretch per month, with flexibility to work more
  • Dedicated and convenient private quarters and call-room

Qualifications

  • Board certification in family or internal medicine
  • Active state licensure or ability to obtain
  • Ability to perform full scope of practice
  • Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior experience preferred
  • Proficiency and willingness to perform mainline procedures
