About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Engineer to join our team at Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited. This is a full-time position based in Bakersfield, CA, and Northern CA, with occasional travel within the region.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical field support and service to our medical imaging customers. This includes servicing, installing, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment. Big Iron experience in MR, CT, and PET/CT is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service medical imaging equipment primarily within primary hospital networks.
  • Provide technical support for parts and service accounts in the local area/region as needed.
  • Ensure that imaging systems are fully calibrated and functioning to OEM performance levels.
  • Meet the needs of customers and ensure the system operates based on their requirements.
  • Move the company forward in engineering competency.
  • Represent the company in a manner that demonstrates confidence, knowledge, and courtesy.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • Big Iron Experience in MR, CT, and PET/CT is preferred, with formal training.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
