About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Developer to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our mobile app development team, you will be responsible for designing and building large-scale distributed systems, solving complex problems related to scale and monetization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of intuitive features that streamline the ordering and delivery process, ensuring a seamless interface for managing deliveries, scheduling, and real-time communication.
  • Design and build large-scale distributed systems, solving complex problems related to scale and monetization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Provide guidance to small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned engineering projects.
  • Support the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues, and providing guidance regarding implications of new and enhanced systems.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of working experience in Native App development, with expertise in RxSwift & Swift languages, UIKit & Foundation frameworks, and xibs & storyboard.
  • 3+ years of working experience in Cloud Components and Architecture.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an approachable way for broad audiences.
  • Demonstrated high-level design of systems.
  • Solid experience in large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with Kafka or other high-volume, low-latency messaging infrastructure.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Stack or other cloud stacks.
  • Extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns, and micro-service architecture.
