Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Rinker Materials. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the production of reinforced concrete products, contributing to the nation's largest manufacturers of infrastructure materials.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mixing and pouring concrete to ensure high-quality products.
  • Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
  • Loading and unloading materials and supplies to support production needs.
  • Setting up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
  • Handling and moving heavy construction materials with care and precision.
  • Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear to prevent injuries.
  • Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.

Requirements:

  • Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work outdoors or in open air environments.
  • Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches.
