Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Aid patients with movement and placement, assist with personal care and activities of daily living, and report any changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Document necessary records and maintain patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Nurse Aide certification preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
