Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Moeller Precision Tool - South. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our production process, responsible for machining steel parts used in various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine production methods and ensure quality standards.
  • Set up and operate CNC form grinders and other machines as needed, adhering to specifications and safety protocols.
  • Perform inspections on manufactured parts to maintain quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Enter production data into the data collection system and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain machinery by applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, and machining procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in running manual and CNC machines, with a strong understanding of machining procedures and safety protocols.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills.
  • Competency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection gauges.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding engineering drawings.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work 8-10 hours a day while standing, with occasional overtime and Saturday shifts.
