Job Title: General Manager

The ideal candidate will oversee all studio functionality from sales to instructors, ensuring the studio meets or exceeds financial goals while providing remarkable leadership in customer service, team member relations, sales, in-studio business performance, and member participation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage leads and converting them to members
  • Implement sales process to schedule prospects into trying a class
  • Generate personal sales and train Studio Team in sales
  • Focus on engaging with all guests, selling memberships, class packages, and product offerings
  • Supervise Studio Team Sales Representatives
  • Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Networking
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
  • Own key marketing channels from ideation/planning/copywriting through to execution
  • Hire and manage all aspects of staffing for the studio, including recruitment, hiring, training, and termination as necessary
  • Supervise, discipline, and advise on pay and termination decisions related to Studio personnel
  • Oversee daily operations of the studio, enforce CITYROW policies and procedures, and ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, hospitality, or related field
  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
  • Ability to manage and drive 2 revenue streams: memberships and retail
  • Must have business knowledge and be focused on driving bottom line revenue
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public
  • Proficient with computers and fitness studio software
  • Must live in close proximity of the studio
Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a very competitive base salary; based on experience and performance. Commission paid on sales. Opportunity to bonus, based on performance. Unlimited growth potential within the company.
