Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support services to patients at Rockledge Regional Medical Center. This role is responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care, and performing various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with dressing, bathing, or eating
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens or gather vital signs
  • Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures as needed
  • Document patient interactions as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current/Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Crisis De-escalation training

Work Environment:

This role will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing patient care and support services to patients at Rockledge Regional Medical Center.
