Key Responsibilities:

The Floor Technician will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a sanitary and orderly environment throughout the community.
  • Safely operating floor care machinery, including vacuums, buffers, and extractors.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is kept in optimal condition and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Keeping the work area tidy and prepared for subsequent shifts.
  • Communicating any concerns regarding residents to the care staff.
  • Flexibly performing additional duties within the Environmental Services department as required.
  • Assisting supervisors in maintaining facilities in a state of readiness for inspections.
