Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Conducts radiologic breast imaging examinations in accordance with departmental protocols, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages.
Ensures quality control measures are adhered to for breast imaging.
Executes mammography procedures with a high level of technical skill.
The Breast Imaging Specialist in this unit provides care for adult patients aged 18 to 64 years.
Delivers high-quality radiologic and mammography assessments for incoming patients.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Completion of a Radiology Program with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Requirements include COVID vaccination, Mammography Technologist certification, and familiarity with EPIC EMR systems.
License/Certification: ARRT License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Certification Requirements:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
